Michael Baer is a Director of Beacon India Private Equity Fund and the Chairman of Baer Capital Partners. Earlier, Michael was the Head of Private Banking and Member of the Executive Board at Julius Baer Holding. Michael is also the Chairman of Charlemagne Capital; non-executive Director of Falcon Private Bank; non-executive Director of FinOps AG. Michael has a Master's Degree in Management and is a Sloan Fellow from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mrs Rooksana Shahabally, resident in Mauritius, is an internal director. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK). She has been a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors since 2011. She has got 33 years of working experience. She started her career at the Attorney General’s Office. Prior to joining IQ EQ Global Business (Mauritius) Ltd, she worked at the Legal and Secretarial Department of the Rogers Group. She has substantial experience in structuring, setting up and administration of both global and domestic companies. As the Head of Client Services at IQ EQ Mauritius, she is responsible for several teams servicing large corporations, investment vehicles and funds. She also acts as Director of numerous companies under IQ EQ Mauritius’ administration.
Mr Jageshwar Juggernauth is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – UK and is a Member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. He also hold an Advance Diploma in Business Administration from the Association of Business Executives – UK. He joined the firm on 04 February 2019 as Head of Delivery for Fund Accounting and has a solid background in the sector. His primary focus is to ensure that the Fund Accounting service is provided at the highest standard of work to our clients.
Mr Juggernauth was previously a Senior Manager in EY’s audit team, where he was mainly leading the audit of listed companies and several Fund structures. Mr Juggernauth has a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the auditing and accounting field, having trained at Grant Thornton, and having spent 3 years working in the UK and the last 7 years with EY.
